Sunday June 10th, Venice Area 36er ride with Joe Marshall

On June 10th, UK unicyclist Joe Marshall has a long layover in Los Angeles. I'll be picking him up from LAX around 1:30 p.m. for a 36er/Schlumph ride along the beach somewhere.

Update:
If his flight is on time we will be meeting at 2 p.m.

On the day you can check the status of the flight here it's flight NZ6. Basically we'll try to meet about an hour and half after his flight lands.

We're going to try to meet at the Ballona Creek Bridge, here is a map. There are electronic meter lots at the end of Pacific Ave. that had lots of empty spaces last week. There is probably free street parking nearby as well.

Saturday 6-2-07, 36er Ride at Hermosa Beach

Meet at 2pm near the intersection of PCH & Herondo St. and we can just park on Beryl a little above pch. Here

It will be free parking then we could simply shoot down to the bike path and start at 2nd street in hermosa! That's a perfect place to start and we could just ride as far North as you all want.

Sunday 5-27 36er ride, Venice Bike Path

Anyhow, the 36er ride this Sunday is at 9:00 A.M. and we'll start at the far end of the bike path, where it actually ends a few miles before PCH meets Sunset. Since the very end (last half mile) of the path is currently under construction, simply take PCH to Temescal, turn right and park on the street (free), then go back across PCH (toward the beach) and go fifty yards to the bike path. We'll meet there and can go south as far as you guys want to go -- all 25 miles to Redondo if you want.

Please note it's been moved up to 9:00 a.m.
